    1. Acceptance of Terms

    Welcome to The Chef Blade (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our website at thechefblade.com and our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.

    These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and clients who access or use our private chef services, private dining experiences, cooking classes, consultancy services, and any other offerings provided by The Chef Blade.

    2. Description of Service

    The Chef Blade provides luxury private chef and culinary consultancy services in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and across the United Arab Emirates. Our services include but are not limited to:

    • Private chef services for events, dinners, and celebrations.
    • Private dining experiences in clients’ homes and villas.
    • Italian cooking classes for couples, small groups, and private parties.
    • Culinary consultancy for restaurants and hospitality businesses.
    • Corporate catering and wedding catering services.

    All services are subject to availability and must be confirmed by Chef Antonino Laudani or an authorised representative of The Chef Blade.

    3. Booking, Payments, Cancellations and Refunds

    Booking Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is only considered confirmed once both parties have agreed on the date, menu, number of guests, and any special requirements, and a deposit or full payment has been received where applicable.

    Payments: Payment terms will be discussed and agreed upon at the time of booking. We accept various payment methods, which will be communicated during the booking process.

    Cancellation and Refund Policy: Refunds may be issued if a dinner or cooking class is cancelled at least 5 days before the confirmed event date, provided the booking is for 2 to 6 guests. For bookings of 7 guests or more, no refund will be issued, as accepting your event means we have likely declined other similar enquiries to reserve that date and allocate the necessary team, space and equipment.

    However, we are very flexible: you may move your event to any other available date within the same calendar year at no extra administrative cost. We are also happy to hold your deposit as a guarantee and credit it toward a future event.

    Changes to Bookings: Any changes to the number of guests, menu, or event details must be communicated as early as possible. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable changes, subject to availability and feasibility. Given that our services require the commitment of staff, rented spaces and equipment, we kindly ask for your understanding.

    4. Intellectual Property

    All content on this website, including but not limited to text, images, photographs, recipes, logos, designs, and graphics, is the property of The Chef Blade or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

    You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our website without our prior written consent.

    Any recipes, techniques, or proprietary culinary methods shared during cooking classes or consultancy sessions remain the intellectual property of The Chef Blade and Chef Antonino Laudani and may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission.

    5. User Responsibilities

    By using our services, you agree to:

    • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when making a booking or enquiry.
    • Notify us of any allergies, dietary restrictions, or special requirements well in advance of your event.
    • Ensure that the venue provided for our services is safe, accessible, and equipped with basic utilities (water, electricity, functioning kitchen where applicable).
    • Treat our staff and representatives with respect and professionalism.
    • Not use our services for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our operations.

    6. Limitation of Liability

    To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Chef Blade, Chef Antonino Laudani, and our representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of our services or these Terms.

    While we take every precaution to ensure the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, we cannot be held responsible for any adverse reactions to food that have not been disclosed to us in advance, including allergies or intolerances.

    Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

    7. Governing Law

    These Terms and any dispute arising from them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any legal proceedings shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Dubai, UAE.

    8. Changes to These Terms

    We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
